GTA 6 Confirmed Weapons List: Every Gun and Melee Weapon Revealed in Trailers and Leaks

Many lengthier GTA 6 trailers have already surfaced, giving us a close-up look at many of the weapons that players can anticipate obtaining.

Although it is difficult to predict the precise names of these weapons until the game itself is released, the GTA 6 teaser footage has provided a sufficient glimpse of several of the game’s weapons to compare them to their real-world counterparts. However, keep in mind that many of these weapons are based on them and are not one-on-one.

While the list below includes every weapon that has been leaked from many sources, the weapons listed below are confirmed and have been used in trailers. Since GTA 6 has probably altered a lot since the 2022 leaked build, the leaked list will be more speculative.

(Beretta M9) pistol

The Beretta M9, a famous weapon that has appeared in numerous video games, looks to be the model for the pistol Jason is clutching here. It was first created in the 1980s and has since appeared in a number of video games, including Grand Theft Auto 6. Although this pistol has never been known for having a lot of power, it will undoubtedly be a dependable sidearm in situations when reloading takes too long.

With an angled slide and Glock optics, this weapon is a peculiar hybrid of the P226 and Glock and is the other primary handgun seen in pre-release materials besides the M9. It appears to be a weapon, but it is not. It probably won’t alter much from the M9, but because of its more recent design, it might be more accurate and handle better.

Revolver (.357 Magnum)

A pistol with a real punch in the back. The barrel’s etching verifies that it is chambered in.357, a powerful round that will probably have a significantly greater impact on sidearms in Grand Theft Auto 6 than the other 9mm possibilities.

Rockstar Long Rifle (SIG Sauer 556 SWAT Rifle)

The first of the new guns we can anticipate seeing in the Phil’s Ammunation commercial is the one he is holding in his hands: A red, white, and blue-painted weapon that seems to be based on the SIG Saur 556 SWAT rifle. Whether this rifle will be fully automatic or semi-automatic and geared for longer-range combat is still unknown.

Shotgun Over-Under (Browning Citori 725)

This weapon, a traditional over-under shotty, was seen in the trailer behind Phil. Sometimes you only need two shells. Though style is sometimes more important than substance, this shotgun probably won’t be as effective as other ones in the game.

The AK-47

There is no need to introduce the AK-47. The distinctive profile of this weapon, which is also seen behind Phil, is visible with a number of accessories. It wouldn’t be a Grand Theft Auto game without one, which is completely automatic and has a ton of power and kick.

Rockstar LMG (M249 SAW)

On top of his gun store, Phil is shown firing an LMG, which has the same barrel housing as a regular M249 SAW and comes with a box mag. It is safe to say that this is the kind of weapon you will want if you don’t want to worry about running out of ammunition.

Rockstar Semi-Auto Marksman Rifle (M14)

This weapon has seen several times in the trailers for Grand Theft Auto 6. It is most likely a long-range, semi-automatic weapon that performs best with a scope attached, based on the M14 rifle. As a famous US military service rifle from 1957 to 1964, it has been a standard weapon since the late 1950s. A reliable weapon for fans of the vintage style.

AR-15 Assault Rifle

In terms of assault rifles, the AR-15 platform is among the most recognizable, and several of these are featured in GTA 6 promos and screenshots. What kind of fire rate players might anticipate from this device is unclear. However, if it is accurate to the flexibility of the real-life weapon, it might have several fire speeds that it can switch to.

It’s unclear if they are separate weapons because certain variants of this platform, like the one above, have tactical rails that are depicted in the film while others don’t.

Bolt-Action Rifle (Model 700 Remington)

Rockstar SMG (MP5)

This tiny, portable weapon, which is based on the MP5 SMG, should shoot quickly and rip through close quarters. In the teaser, other iterations of this weapon with various attachments have also been seen. Although the existence of weapon customization in Grand Theft Auto 6 is not particularly surprising, these weapon varieties serve as formal confirmation.
